What a glorious day!Today my Godson, Dylan, was baptized. The service was very nice. While I did get a little misty, I did not cry my eyes out. Dylan looked so handsome in his satin white outfit. He had cuffed pants, a white dress shirt, and white socks with crosses on them. He also had a vest with matching tie that had a shiny white paisley pattern on them. Jeff’s best friend, Jon, was the Godfather. Jeff is Jon’s daughter, Carmella’s, Godfather. Dylan was good during the actual baptism, but got hungry during church and Jeff had to take him in the back to give him his bottle. After church, we went to my mom’s for a party. There were about 25 people or so. Laura and my mom ordered food from Stancato’s: Belgian waffles, hash browns, eggs with cheese and ham, and breakfast pizza with eggs cheese and bacon. They also got 5 rolls (nut, poppyseed, and apple) from Barano’s Bakery. Aunt Lori got bagels from Panera, and Marie and I made muffins. We had so much food! We’ll be eating brunch for weeks to come. Thanks to everyone who did so much to help. I borrowed chairs and tables from several people, Marie snuck out of church early to let the caterers in, light candles, etc. Also, yesterday, she painted my nails since I can’t see—much appreciated. Here’s quite a few pictures. I couldn’t decide which ones not to post, so there are several. Our professional photographer, Uncle Tom, took a lot of pictures too. I’m sure we’ll be posting more soon!
